Additional guidelines
When preparing an application, it's essential to understand that the fewer questions an application raises, the simpler and faster the evaluation process will be. Therefore, please ensure the project description and the curriculum have high-quality information. For example, include detailed and relevant information about the organizers, project leaders, project supervisors, and any experts involved in the project. By offering clear and comprehensive information, our board can make a well-informed decision without needing to ask additional questions.
Moreover, if any pending co-funding has been awarded before and/or after you receive our decision, you should communicate this by email with the staff of the JHF (info@jhf.nl) and provide supporting evidence. This will give a clear view of the project's financial viability.
Also, when filling out the budget template, it is essential to follow the provided example strictly: sample budget. This ensures that your project can be assessed more efficiently. If the example is not followed, evaluating your application may have negative consequences for our decision.
Lastly, fill out the "approved/pending" field in the budget correctly ("awarded" when you know you will get the co-funding, "pending" when you applied for funding but are awaiting an answer).
Practical information
The Board of the Dutch Jewish Humanitarian Fund will evaluate the applications. In December, you will be informed about the outcome of your grant application.
